How do I even recognize high quality cat food?
Dry feed as a complete feed should be avoided entirely.
Unfortunately, wet food in jelly or sauce is often of poor quality
- but that alone is unfortunately not a meaningful indication.
With good wet food, the following criteria should be met:
* High meat content (at least 70%)
* Free from sugar, grain, dairy products, flavor enhancers,
Preservatives, attractants, fillers or artificial flavorings
* Taurine, phosphorus, calcium, vitamins and important minerals are included
